Or first shot will be a close up of a scrap book which contains pictures of our main character, to give the impression the person who created the scrap books wants revenge in some way. We will be flicking pages quickly, building tension. We may include close-ups of the pictures, to emphasis the audience remembering him.
The next shot will contains a picture of a girl with r.i.p wrote in someone , which is still being decided.
We will then cut to a medium shot of our main character walking up a private road and drive.
Following this we will shoot a close up of two peoples legs and feet walking to give the impression there following the main character, emphasizing the foot steps.
These shots will all be quite short to build tension.
we'll use a long shot to show him going into him house, as a point of view shot as the other unknown people.
The screen will turn black and the audience will hear a loud knock.
The next shot will be a close up of someone's hand holding a knife. this will be filmed as a quick picture like clip, which then follows with a close up clip of the main characters eye's, then the two other characters eye, looking evil.

production name
We decided to come up with our production name by combining a section of each of our names, making it unique and unusual.
Some names we can up with were :
porviestic
vistica
jorica
estorick
we decide that the more realistic one to use which wouldn't sound to weird would be vistica.
We've decided that this will appear on a scrap book once it had been shut.
We've now created our title on final cut, including the production name, who's starring in the film, co starring, editor, costume design, etc. We felt to use red as the colour of the writing as it conveys quite a alarming, horror type atmosphere, it could also signify blood which is quite a typical feeling when thinking of a horror.

Location
we have decided to film in Merstham as this area is quite secluded and isolated.
this will add to the tension of our film as it will convey the sense of loneliness.
We will be filming in a house along a private road, this is good because again this will add to the tension within the film.

Prom night opening sequence
This is the opening sequence for prom night. It's similar to what we hope to achieve in our opening sequence as the beginning is set in a house. It uses unusual font, as it is a classic italic font. It starts with introducing the production, then the title of the film comes up. The music in the background sounds as though its appealing to younger audiences. It begins set in the evening, which gives a sense of edginess to start the film, which is what we want to create in ours.

Jeepers Creepers Title Sequence
This title sequence is effective as it shows the rural surroundings and it makes you the viewer more involved, the use of basic text is good and not to over the top fading in and out. The way 'jeepers creepers' seems to appear and come further towards the audience creates a tense atmosphere and gives us the impression that the film will be thrilling. The non-diegetic sound links well to a horror film as it's uneasy and not too powerful. In addition, the way the scene and characters are introduced is embracing. For example, the van at the beginning of the scene was conveying an angry and dangerous feeling to the film.
target audience
From the research carried out we have decided to make our film an 15 certificate.
Our decision was made by the research we used from IMDB.com, we picked a variety of films showing a similarity to ours and found that they are all certified for persons 15-18 and over. We have attached a link to each of the titles showing the percentage of males and females 18-29 who are the targeted audience.
The Strangers
Blair witch project
Wrong turn
Hide and Seek
We do no have a specific target gender because the percents between males and females are fairly close therefore we want to appeal to both genders.
However, we will be more specific with the ages, as it is shown on IMDB.com that persons under the age of 18 have a higher percentage in watching films like this. So we have decided we will be aiming to grab the attention of males and females aged
15-24.

Cabin Fever Title Sequence
This is the title sequence for Cabin fever. We think that this is a good title sequence as it has good camera shots and the music is effective for the reason that it makes the film seem more Erie.
